  1. Love your vision of “doctors prescribe dietary changes before medication and counselling before anti-depressants and where medical staff work side by side with natural therapists in hospitals and clinic”
    Teaching people to eat for hunger, instead of convenience, sorrow, joy, reward or companionship is often a revelation…they just have to give themselves permission to do it. And time.

    Such a good point John – that this kind of change takes time. It seems that so many of us think if we don’t get instant results, results aren’t going to come. I just remind myself that my body took many years to get here – many years of poor habits and crappy food – it’s not going to heal overnight.

    Knowing this helps me to be easy on myself as well, to enjoy the journey more and not put so much pressure on myself to be vibrantly healthy NOW.
